“Spacer"/

making my life my art...one day at a time...

I have been blogging for about a year and a half now.
I began with a desire to reconnect with myself creatively
after spending over eighteen years raising my family.

I had so lost touch with me...
with what I wanted...
who I was...
who I had been...
and just as importantly....

where I was going
as my nest began to empty out.

So after about six months of blogging...
I realized this was my
what's next...

experiment...

giving myself the gift of time...
and a place to express...
be creative...

and receive the gift I wasn't even expecting...

the gift of connecting...

This is the part of blogging that has fueled my creative spirit like no other.

So now...
I feel concepts coming together...

as I prepare for an upcoming conference...
I have been working on my
'elevator pitch'

I realize my blog is where I celebrate

making my life my art
one day at a time....

 Whether it is

the celebration of family
clothes
designing fashion accessories
styling my home and garden
photography
new places
or just expressing thoughts and feelings in words

the common denominator

these are all done in a pursuit of

Making my life my art
one day at a time...

as always dear friends

I wish you love and joy
as you style your life

thank you so
for following along on this journey

  1. A beautiful sentiment Tamera and very well put. I want to remember that as I go through my days and nights, often forgetting what I'm about before I shake myself back to what matters. Thank you again and again.

  2. "Making my life art, one day at a time." It doesn't get any deeper or more soulful than that Tamera. I am pretty much speechless after reading all of your beautiful and poetic words. That is what your writing is, poetry. My daughter leaves tomorrow so I needed this. xo
