We were in Downtown Los Angeles last weekend
supporting a friend at the
so of course it was a perfect time
to shoot some outfits in my favorite LA area
I was so excited to style my new poncho and hat
two of my favorite finds
from last weeks
Austin Trip
which I will be sharing more about next week!
I found this fabulous hand embroidered poncho at
Feathers in Austin.
told me about
which is a vintage store
when I mentioned our destination on Instagram.
So you absolutely know if
recommended it to me
it became a top destination!
I found my new favorite hat at
which was a top must see recommendation
from my darling friend
Jen is the Art Director for the fabulous
Austin basked blogger and influencer
If you are planning an Austin trip
make sure to check out her site for all
the best of Austin!!
I was lucky enough to visit Camille's workspace
that I will share in next weeks Austin post.
is definitely something to see!
They even have a fantastic hat collection!
I could have left with so many
but my 3 suitcases
just didn't have the extra room!
My favorite part of finding hats at Western Wear stores
is that the hats are sized within 1/8 of an inch
so you can find the perfect size!
I always like mine a tad on the large size
so I can get two looks from my hats.
I either wear them straight on my head
or
tipped back so that the
hat is a perfect face framer.
Back in LA this Sunday
we returned to
We were walking around
looking for the perfect wall and lighting
when we came to an unassuming covered walkway
and
decided to take a peek inside.
We didn't even k now at the time we had just stumbled into the amazing
Hauser and Wirth
is a museum and gallery
representing over 60 modern and contemporary artists worldwide.
This LA venue is the latest addition
to this Swiss owned group.
It is a magnificent property
located in what was originally a grain mill
and
has now become my favorite LA destination.
If you are in the area
I highly recommend a visit to
Not only do they have fantastic art to be seen
but also an open courtyard, public garden and an Art Bookstore.
As well as
"Sitting within the hidden courtyard of Hauser & Wirth Los Angeles, Manuela is at the center of the thriving Downtown Arts District. A destination for food, art and culture, our distinctive menu is a celebration of the best locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients"
We definitely would have done their brunch
if we had found it in time.
Instead we stopped for a cocktail to really take in the remarkable space!
is at the top of my return visit list!
Hat - Allen Boots, Leather Purse - Vintage, Poncho - Feathers Austin, Jeans - Zara, Top - Chateau Belage, Sunglasses - Free People, Earrings -Anthropologie, White Booties - Target
As always my friends
I wish you love and joy
as you style your life
