Hello Monday ... Hello Gratitude

Hello Monday
Hello Gratitude

Hello to a heart full of Christmas cheer!
Hello to my dear daughter coming home Friday
for Christmas break!

Hello to gratitude
for our little house
that is all dressed up
for the holidays.
It is within these walls
we have grown
a family.

Made our own Christmas traditions
and
had the privilege
of watching
our three
children
grow into incredible adults.

To me
this  house is a sacred space
and
hallowed ground.

This little house
 is a family's home.

Hello to a heart full of gratitude
and
so much thanks

for all of your support last week.
I felt the love
and
 gained from the perspectives
and stories shared.
My soul was soothed
and
given hope.

Hello to gratitude for perspective.

There was a horrific car accident this week
just blocks from our house.
Unfortunately
it was a car full of teenage girls
who had made some very unfortunate choices
and
 now have to live with
unbelievably harsh outcomes.
My heart breaks and bleeds
for these girls
and
 their families.
I send them all much much love and prayer.

Life is so very fragile
It is up to us to make
the very most of everyday given.
and to
love fiercely
 and
 steadfastly.

On a much, much, lighter note

Hello to gratitude for those that embrace the past
and
celebrate histories and traditions.
Jeff and I got to spend time in
Old Town San Juan Capistrano
 where history
and
small town life
are always celebrated.

Hello to a beautiful new holiday week
and
time spent with ones I love!

As always my dear friends

I wish you love and joy
as you style your life

thank you once again
you fill my heart.
