changing perspectives......

 I have been reflecting lately 

on how much my life has changed in the last couple of years....

two years ago I was spending 4-6 hours a day

driving my children where they needed to be

and consumed with helping Ellis with the college admission process .......

 I spent last year

grieving.....

Ellis leaving for college.....

my changing role as the mother of two teenage sons....

mourning the passage of 

what had been......

 This last year 

I spent much time 

reflecting on 

that loss...

and by doing so I have been able to 

move forward....

and

 establish new relationships 

with my children...

and I  am able now

to seek out

in

 excited anticipation 

what is 

the next chapter

that is
 my life....

I have moved to a place

where I can count the blessings

of this new phase

and 

treasure the past all the more....

yes...

to everything there is truly a season....

and it is our job to 

find

and 

celebrate

what each  one has to offer.....
