Sometimes it just hits you.....

Sometimes things just hit you....
things......life
are happening
and try as you might
you can't stop the inevitable....

like today.....

I was so happy

happy....

we all made it through the summer...

we all got along...

we even enjoyed being together....

happy....

I have been able to make peace

with the fact my darling daughter

now has a life of her own...

happy....

I know I still have,

and always will have a place in
Ellis's life.

summer is now ending.....

Next week my sons

Slater and Hunter

return to high school...

then it HIT me....

 Slater

will be a senior this year...

which means

 I have to begin the process 

of letting go 

all over again.....

and

I have to really realize

 again....

my parenting days of

 kids at home

really are numbered....

so

I feel even more pressure 

to really step up 

and find out....

what's next......

for me.
