“Spacer"/

starting over....

Before the birth of my third child  I had a successful fashion accessory line.

I had spent most of my adult life up until then working towards that goal.
A fashion merchandising at Orange Coast College...
studying international business at New York University...
and finishing up at UCLA with a design degree....
followed by time spent in the executive offices of major retailers.

While designing accessories i was lucky enough to enjoy exciting press coverage, both in the US and abroad.

Because of the press coverage I was able to sell my designs around the world.
My designs ended up in movies and on TV.

After my youngest was born, actually while I was pregnant, I realized I couldn't do it all.....
at the level I wanted to,
or the way I felt compelled to do.

So I closed down my business

and devoted myself to my children

making our family life my art.

I even chose to homeschool them for
almost a decade

taking a road less traveled....

not wanting to miss a moment

of their fleeting childhood.

Now.... they are all  but grown...

So now I am starting over....

  3. "making our family life my art" I love this! I'm going to have to quote you on it. That is what I want to do, too... only I didn't know how to express it! I can't wait to see what becomes of your new ideas and possible business. Another season of creativity to embark on. :)
