chanel inspiration meets anthropologie.......

I took a vintage  Chanel inspired Ann Taylor jacket

added some thick looped trim  for a Chanel nod...

primitive embroidery stitching to give a tad bit of whimsical edge

and a little anthropologie flavor...

then paired it with my vintage fox collar......

added vintage earring posts

What I wore...

 What a luxury in my wardrobe... having more discretionary time .  I have been able to shop for some missing pieces....think through what occasions and needs I will have ...a far cry from when my kids were younger and packing tended to be more of a grab and go. 

 This is my favorite outfit for the trip.... 

1. vest- merona plus a feather 'collar' I sewed on to the fur vest
2. leopard tie blouse-Target
3. fabulous full wool pants-Walter (they move as dramatically as a skirt with all the ease of a pant!)
4. purse-Dooney and Burke

These days I have even found the time to try new hairstyles....

 I have had the time to research and shop and find the perfect brown touring boot....

 Time to find and design fabulous accessories...

 Time to work on my new design business....here...one of my new vintage assemblage pieces....

Last year I mourned the passing of being a full time mom...this year is all... about

 finding the gifts

in transitioning

 to this new phase.....

for everything there is truly a season!
