Spring Family Gathering

We had a most lovely

Family gathering 

for Easter

And all of my styling works for any 

Spring Celebration

I once again

 refashioned one of my dresses!

I'm starting to realize this is a favorite 

Styling Hack

I really love!

It starts with reusing something I already love.

This time it was my pink dress that a couple of years ago

I finished off with 

vintage millinery   flowers form Jeff's Grandmother.

To restyle the dress this year,

 I ordered a coordinating tulle skirt

and 

wore it with my straw boater.

I also took it out the day before

for a trip to the Laguna Beach Farmers Market

to buy flowers for our Easter Brunch.

Hostessing requires a comfort and ease in an outfit

that I wanted to make sure this dress could support.

This is how I wore the dress a few years ago

to a wonderful bridal shower.

This is the dress originally,  before I embellished it with

the amazing antique flowers!

This is this year's rendition 

I couldn't be happier how it  looked and functioned 

for Easter!

Table Styling!

that I had Jeff fabricate!

It was so fun to do my party florals

in a brand new to me way!

Another styling highlight

the bar we set up with

vintage buckets with garnish from the garden!

Jeff once again made hummus as a vegtable garden.

 

Megan, our wonderful daughter in law

made a flight of homemade cakes

with the most amazing flavors!

She even makes her own butter for baking!

Of course there was an Easter Egg Hunt!

I also once again set up a jewelry making station

since it was such a hit last year!

This year i ordered supplies

to make 

Bandanna Jewelry.

I brought out my collections of charms

 for the project.

I got such a kick out of seeing how wonderful they came out!

This one is Ellis's origianl creation!

Here is Megan's fabulous necklace!

I love the anklet!

Even miss Lennon was creating her own original pieces

with a key ring for her backpack!

i had amny favorite from our 

Easter Family gathering

but seeing these girls deep increativity

really filled my heart!

It was an afternoon that I will tuck. into my heart

so that I can revisit this beautiful 

family afternoon

whenever i want!
