Boston Yacht Haven Inn

Today I'm sharing one of my top  New England hotel stays
Situated on Boston's historic Commercial Wharf
it is a 10 room boutique hotel
set amid a 100 slip marina.

If you've been following me here for the last decade
you have already read about my
hotel requirement of having at least a window that actually opens
and
preferably some sort of balcony.
These days with the bigger corporate hotels that is so surprisingly a non starter.
But with a lot of Boston research
we found the truly amazing
It was not only a room with a view
but the best balcony/deck ever!

We booked one of the corner rooms
which actually comes with  not only two walls of windows with spectacular views
but a deck so large it contains two loungers, a dining table for four
as well as bar stools to take in the spectacular views!

We flew out on Jet Blue's Mint
I wrote about the fight HERE
Minted accommodations , like most all major airlines
differ by the planes themselves so it's worth doing your research.
On this flight they were amazing!

When we arrived in Boston
we grabbed a water taxi from Boston's Logan Airport to the hotel.
is just across the harbor from the airport.

Our check in was smooth
made even better with a welcome bottle of wine!
We made it to our hotel room just in time for sunset on our balcony!
It was a perfect pinch me moment!

Our fabulous corner room had 180 degree views of the harbor.

Our room itself was beautiful
but it's this large balcony
with it's expansive views of the Boston skyline
and
a perfect place to watch ships float by
that has
on my top 10 Hotel list!

The interior is large and spacious with vaulted ceilings.

is situated in
so it's the perfect base to walk beautiful Boston!

One of our walks led us to the beautiful
for a lovely lunch
at this  Italian rooftop restaurant which
sits atop
a luxury hotel
on

Beautiful sweeping rooftop views of
and

Returning from our stunning walks
felt literally like a relaxing haven
from the bustling downtown.

Our room and balcony offered the most
amazing sunrises!

When it was time to return home
we once again took the water taxi back to
Logan Airport.
A perfect end to our wonderful stay at
Boston Yacht Haven!

A quick side note about Logan Airport there is a new
has open a brand new lounge
that is part of Priority Pass
and it's absolutely lovely and lucky for us
next to Jet Blue Mint!

As always my friends

I wish you love and joy
as you style your life

  2. I loved this, Tamera. How lovely to have a hotel right on the harbour, and the pictures are beautiful. It is 26 years since we visited Boston in the Autumn, and I remember those beautiful historic brown buildings, and the golden trees. Thanks for sharing it all. Love your cool weather outfits, the black and cream combo, and the lovely felt hats. xoxox

  3. Boston looks a fascinating city, wonderful architecture and parks, water, thanks for sharing Tamera. I am always intrigued and wonder how you manage your luggage. As I have gotten older and with each trip I take I have learnt to pack in a small bag, leaving my favourite clothes which will take up space at home. Your photos are as always, beautiful. I hope all is well with Jeff's parents and Happy December and all its festivities. Love, peace and joy, Elizabeth.

    1. Hello Elizabeth! Always so lovely to have a visit here from you my dear! Yes, Boston is truly a remarkable city!

This trip for me, I actually packed lighter than usual and it was a lovely delight! It's the first time I actually had extra room in my suitcase and I loved it! I think I will be putting effort into changing how I pack in the future. The real reason I can travel with so much is because Jeff is always such a love about helping with my suitcases.

Jeff's Dad seems to be doing well right now, thanks for asking! Thank you again for visiting here Elizabeth! wishing you all the best this season! XOX
