September Reflections - A Gratitude Post

I started doing monthly recaps
on Instagram a few months ago.
I now realize they are simply
Reflections on Gratitude
in the most beautiful, simple way.
Highlights and moments I want to remember
and
push into my heart.

It is said we get more of what we think of most
and
I know for a fact
Gratitude truly changed my life.

And the more
Grateful I become
the richer and more loving
my life becomes.

I believe gratitude is an important tool
in the path to a happy and meaningful life.
And taking time to intentionally reflect on the good
is just so good for the soul.

Meaningful time with  my family is always
on the top of my list.

I am so grateful to be a grandmother with this dear woman!

Our children have been a couple since their first high school years!

I spent a couple of days sorting my boys legos
into playable age appropriate pieces for our grands!
It was a little bit of touching the past
with excitement for the future.

Of course I had several dreams afterward
in which my darling sons were young.
It felt a little like going back in time
and feeling the immense  momma love.

Oh this sweet, sweet girl!
She fills my heart!

Last week the grands and I
painted ceramic pumpkins for them to take home!

I did an event at South Coast Plaza
for the relaunching of one of their luxury wings.

A huge fire broke out several miles behind our house.
Huge gratitude to the tireless effort firefighters
made for over a week to get it all out.

WE definitely had dramatic views for a few nights.

Jeff and I celebrated 37 years married
38 years together!

We celebrated our anniversary with a day in Laguna Beach
at several of the spots from our first date.

Met a client and dear friend
for a day of personal styling!
Helping people  to appreciate their own beauty
is always a highlight for me!

Then Jeff and I checked out the new
Pendry Hotel
in Newport Beach.

A cotton khaki suit made for lovely
fall transitional look.

I kept it casual with som slip on tennies and canvas bag.

I am also loving coveralls in all colors right now!
I am trying to refine my fall uniform for creating
in my studio. this fall.

My fall and halloween decorating is all. done!
But this post has gotten so long
I'm going to share my
Fall Decor
in a separate post.

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit!
I always so appreciate it!

As always my friends

I wish you love and joy
as you style your life

  2. Gorgeous family pictures with the Grands, and so special to have good friendships with the other Grannie. You look lovely together. Sorting the Lego is definitely a part of grandmotherly duty. I indulge on a regular basis, and am reminded the Christmas Lego Gingerbread House will be making an appearance in a few weeks. The fires look fearsome, and I am pleased they come no closer to you. I imagine the air was polluted, sadly. Happy Anniversary to you two kids :) xox
