Jeff and I made a day trip to
this weekend
Our first and always favorite stop
a restaurant and lounge
overlooking Wilshire Boulevard and
For me it always feels like an immersive
Beverly Hills experience
with both locals and travelers visiting from around the world.
The BLVD
is located on the ground floor of the iconic
(remember PrettyWoman which came out in 1990)
Built in 1928 it's past is as storied as Hollywood itself!
I just love entering the restaurant through the
main hotel lobby!
You get to experience the grandeur of the hotel
with it's always opulent flower arrangements!
The gorgeous themed flowers are carried throughout
The BLVD
All the way to the individual tables!
I just love wonderful table flowers!
I chose to wear a cream outfit finished with my
oversized Pearls and Floral Brooch'
I try to do outfits that are as interesting sitting at a table as standing.
My outfit inspiration started with a tulle slip Ive' had since January
waiting for the perfect outfit and occasion.
I topped it with a short sweater over wide legged denim
for a dose of juxtaposition.
I loved the swish of the slip when I walked.
So many times my favorite outfits are about textured and movement.
is another favorite stop of ours when in town.
My stylish husband and photographer!
Same Ralph Lauren Beverly Hills entrance
24 years ago with my adorable 3!
We don't go to Beverly Hills often
but when we do
I like to dress to make it an occasion.
It was our first trip to Rodeo Drive.
I loved neutrals and hats clear back then!
I can still remember this day so clearly.
I wish I could go back here
just for an afternoon.
Boy did I love these kiddos fiercely!
And I am so grateful I took the time to dress my children well.
I had no idea when I started this post this morning
I would end up here
all because I thought the Ralph Lauren entry looked different
I guess life is all about making beautiful memories
then and now.
And great outfits along the way!
As always my friends
I wish you love and joy
as you style your life
