Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles ... Market Week

We stayed at the ultra hip Ace Hotel
for Los Angele's Fall Market Week.
Located in the Fashion District
it made for the perfect base camp
in the search for new designers and trends!

We got one of their larger loft rooms.
The over 800 square feet of the room
provided ample room to settle in hotel.

One of my favorite details in the Ace Hotel rooms
are the old school record players
and vintage vinyls.

Our loft room had windows on three sides
so this fabulous bathroom was flooded with natural light!

How adorable are these soap tags.
It's these little details at the Ace that made my heart so happy!

How genius are these black towels for makeup removal!

Talk about a tub with a view!

This turquoise building is the Eastern Columbia Building
one of my very favorites in Downtown LA
so to have a perfect bathing view was over the top cool for me!

The Ace Hotel DTLA  was originally built in 1927
as the offices of United Artists.

The 13 story building was designed by architect Howard Crane
in Spanish Gothic style.
It was modeled after the Sergovia Cathedral in Spain.

The Ace has two restaurants
the Upstairs is their rooftop bar
with panoramic views of the city!

The LA Chapter is their main restaurant located on the ground floor
with seating inside and out.

We enjoyed a delightful dinner downstairs.

But it were the hotel rooms
filled with fun finishing details and plenty of space
that truly stood out to me!

We got an early morning start to our day
visiting the LA Mart
and
then over to the Cooper Building.

My outfit for the day
consisted of a white base of a bell sleeved top and white cropped jeans
paired with my most recent kimono purchase!
I finished my ensemble off
with block heels and my signature pearl necklace
that is now in my shop.

Tying the kimono just above my waist
made for a quick yet finished ensemble.
It also made for a perfect layering piece as the day warmed up
I could remove it and slide it easily into my over sized bag!
Kimonos are always one of my favorite traveling pieces!

The Cooper Building held so many wonderful showrooms
including the Penthouse floor filled with new visiting brands!

I absolutely fell in love with this dramatic and chic dress
by Marlene Olivia a new line in the wonderful
Lebel Group!

Pared is a new sunglass brand hailing from Australia.
Their oversized frames realyl called out to me!

As did the hand sewn crystals on this delicious coat by
Parisian based Tara Jarmon!

It is always exciting to see Trina Turk's LA showroom!

I had such a fabulous trip to the City of Angeles
and
especially with the Ace Hotel being home base
for our time searching for new fashions!

As always my friends

I wish you love and joy
as you style your life
