The US Grant Luxury Wedding Show

Sunday I was back in beautiful
San Diego
with my darling daughter
for
The US Grant Hotel
Luxury Wedding Show and Luncheon.

I always love to catch the train
before the sun is up
to make the very most of the train ride down the coast!

Ellis joins me on the train
getting on in Solana Beach
so we arrive
in San Diego together!

From the train depot it's  a short walk
to the historic
US Grant Hotel.

With such luxurious invites
we were pretty excited to
see what this show was all about!

The hotel did not disappoint
as far as luxury.
Definitely not the feeling
of the venue we are looking for
but a dreamy location never the less.

So many set ups
to see
with the offerings of many
luxury vendors.

Bellinis were served
and
talks from the Knot magazine
with given.

And the flowers … were divine
every where!

The luncheon included
30 different tables
designed  by 10 of
San Diego's top Wedding Planners.
Oh the beauty and the bounty
on display.

The details on each different concept table
were amazing.
I only wish we had more time to truly
take in the splendor
before we were asked to sit down at our assigned table.

Our table was a menswear theme
where the menu
was presented in leather
as well as imaginative
menswear take aways.

I was mesmerized by the opulent orchid arrangement
that was lined with white hydrangeas.

The show was quite outstanding
but
my favorite part is always spending quality time with
my girl!

Speaking of my girl
Ellis …
her brand new blog is live
here
If you get a chance stop by
and say hi!
She will be so happy for your visit
to her new little spot online!

As always my friends

I wish you love and joy
as you style your life

  8. The manager at San Diego Wedding venues was fantastic and very accommodating to our all our requests. He made us feel comfortable with the whole process and was one of the few people who actually listened to what we wanted instead of telling us what we wanted.
