  3. You made a muted color like grey look positively regal! I love the risks you take with your clothing. Those silver sunglasses are beautiful with the crown. Like the B & W shot too.

    1. Thank you my dear! You, of course … were the inspiration of the black and white. You have shown me there is a quiet richness and purity … and even calm … when color is forsaken. I am so enjoying mixing the two. xo

  8. There is absolutely nothing but pure joy in every photo, as well as beauty, creativity, and inspiration galore! Completely stunning, my friend. That crown leaves me in awe. So now the fun question, did you search for those perfect sunnies after you had already created the crown? And obviously your sweet mother must be as creative as her daughter to create this magnificent and beautiful cape.

    1. My dearest Trina, Thank you so for your sweet words my friend! They touch my heart!

To answer your question … I did have the glasses already. When I shop I usually do so with my wardrobe color palette in mind. I have decided this week to see if I could pull together the grays in my closet as I realized I had a large collection of pieces I had collected over they years … with not cohesive direction. So I decided to invest a little bit in a few pieces to see if I could pull together and update my grays.

Yes, my mother is where I got my interest in clothing from a very young age … she used to make so amy of my clothes. Our family even owed a fabric store for many years! Isn't a beautiful thing … to gain from our mothers and then pass it to our daughters … and in your wonderful case … from them to their own daughters! Big hugs to you all! xo

  17. You look absolutely stunning, Tamera. I love this look so much, the silver and grey, and you have made it sing! Your beautiful feather/fern crown is my favourite on you. How wonderfully creative you are, and apparently your mother as well. My mother sewed for me too, and inspired me to design and create for myself. Fabulous post!
