Our Kitchen Is Complete … The Farm Sink Is In

For those of you who follow me on instagram
you know I spent this weekend
finishing our small kitchen renovation!
I have wanted a farm sink for years
to finish off our customized kitchen.
Today I am happy to say
the sink is now a completed project!

Jeff actually installed the sink
we purchased from Ikea
last month
and
I have been needing
a weekend to finish off the surrounding mosaic counter.

I really took my time on each step
and
couldn't be happier with the finished product!

The morning sun streams in
giving the glass pebbles an ocean feel.
I love being in my kitchen now!

Not only are my counters bejeweled
but my kitchen is handsomely accessorized as well.
My dish soap is kept in a glass bottle
as is my much needed hand lotion.

All of my useful collections
are beautifully displayed
for easy use.

My design intention
for my kitchen
was for an artistic space
where all the utilitarian needs are addressed
with both function as well as creativity.
I want to feel as if  I am working in art.

The farm sink
was the final piece of the puzzle
and
I am ever so happy with the results!
Our small efficient kitchen
is a happy place
where food can truly be highlighted!

As always my friends

I wish you love and joy
as you style your life

  1. Stunning and sparkling just like the owner of this lovely space. A true work of art by the amazing Tamera Beardsly and her handy, helpful hubbie. I really love this. Spurs me on. We are getting ready...finally for a whole nest "fluffing." Much to do before July and baby boy Grandson arrives and my mind is focused solely on little momma and sweet smelling baby-ness. Just what I needed to see a transformation a la diy. We are all about the diy at this home. xoxo B

Since I have missed some of your posts I did not see the trasformation process until now. What tedious work but such amazing results! Right now I am involved in a time consuming project and know what it means to live with your art. Congrats on designing such an incredible piece!♡♥♡

  8. I imagine this will bring you joy every time you walk into the kitchen…the sunlight streaming onto the glass "jewels" is stunning…and how wonderful to have a completely one-off kitchen.
