This Friday night I wanted to change things up a bit
and
surf before our date night out.
So it took a bit of preplanning to cover all the wardrobe bases
to style this Friday night.
I chose a date night outfit
that would be an easy change after surfing
a pull on skirt and sweater
with you guessed it
plenty of accessories
to properly set off the casual attire.
Slipping on a turban
is the perfect
after surf
wet hair solve!
My newest accessory obsessions
anklet collections
these beauties will soon will be making it into my
along with this bone and shell necklace.
After my quick change and photos
we made it up the hill in Dana Point
for a lovely sunset of cocktails and appetizers.
Making it a perfect Friday night
of surfing and a date night.
As always my friends
I wish you love and joy
as you style your life
You are the coolest Caifornian girl, in my next life I want to be you.

How brilliant you can surf. I love those photos of you on the board. That is something I've always wanted to do. I'm a chicken though as I'm not the best swimmer. It does seem wonderfully freeing and beautiful.

I love seeing this other side of you...Surfer Girl!!! I've never been and it seems so exotic and other-worldly. Your glam aprés surf outfit is delicious. I need anklets like that. Don't we all?!! Enjoy your week. XXXOOO
ReplyDeleteIs this real? Of course it is - you are Tamera! I love that you surf. The closest I have come is boogie boarding, what a blast. And then you look so elegant after towelling dry. Gulp. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteFrom surfing to date night glamour! You do it all with style and panache. I'm loving the anklet collection; a must have for summer. Thank you for sharing your turban with Hat Attack!
ReplyDeleteYou are SO FABULOUS! Love that you went from surf girl to glam madame! Now I want a crochet skirt and anklets!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, as always! Love the monochrome look and how you blend with (but could never blend in) the sand.

Oh my goodness I just read your about page and oh how I love who you are! I began blogging at a similar time in my life too. I have always been an artist but chose to remain home full time when my first born arrived. I love Motherhood! This slowly lead to Homeschooling my four children. When my last two children decided to go to our local H.S I found mysekf in that strange transition that you are currently in. Now they are all in college and I am pursueing my art again. I have found my place and calm in remaining home spending the hours in my studio and organic gardens. I think I cried every day the first year of no longer Homeschooling. It is really hard to learn to live alone again after so many years of togetherness 24/7!!!!! So glad I found your blog. xxo
ReplyDeleteMon ami ... you are an amazing inspiration ... loving your date outfit and the jewelry is fabulous!!! Your surf outfit it great ... love your free spirit.. Hugs and blessings, C.. (HHL)
