“Spacer"/

.... hello Monday ....

Hello Monday...
Hello to beach walks this week...

Hello to newly planted tomatoes....
Hello to a garden in good shape.
Previous to this year....I would have considered myself more of a planter...
and less of a gardener ....
I am amazed  with consistent care... how well everything is doing.

Hello to hopefully a full summer of garden consistency :)

Hello to produce driven family meals...
at least on the weekdays....
I must admit...
this cooking thing...
is getting a little harder every night...

Don't be fooled by all the pretty pictures...
Writing this...
I have just pulled myself up out of bed...
after a bit of an overwhelm.... maybe or maybe not...
hormone induced melt down...
just keeping it honest :)
Hello to pulling out my flag collection to decorate for the 4th...

Hello to getting my first listings up in my shop.
I flipped my plan of only opening the shop when the whole collection was up...
Having that as a unsuccessful goal....
I am reversing ....
and splitting my time between new designs...
and actually listing a few things each week...
Hello to hoping this will be more successful :)

Hello to already looking forward to our weekend date nights...
When our kids were young I only hired a babysitter twice....
then we were so busy with all our kid's activities for so many years.
So going back to regular date nights...
feels as though Jeff and I have come full circle...
I am getting pretty darn comfortable with our new schedule...
after some initial grieving :)

Wishing you all a wonderful new week.

As always my friends

I wish you love and joy
as you style your life

  1. I have the whole day to myself today-everyone is at work and I'm off for 4 weeks. I'm loving the quiet house and staying in my jammies until 10! Drawing and coffee and catching up is wonderful :)

  3. Hello to you, dear Tamera. We are currently in the season of our kids' activities. Looking forward to when we can have more regular date nights. I'm so glad you are able to find the beauty even when you have meltdowns, however induced. Much love, Anne

  5. Tamera, can I just tell you how wonderful the Hello Monday Posts have been. Great inspiration, thank you. We must be around the same age because I hear you on the hormones, sweet lady. Wish we lived closer so we could take morning walks together and yell at the top of our lungs about this ( stupid, crazy, awful) stage we have to go through. Hang in there!

  6. So lovely pictures. Last year I also had tomatoes in my orangery, but gave up this year and has already miss them. The taste of your own is the best. I love the time to myself now that I'm not working anymore. So enjoy it :)

  7. Hello Tamera,
Your fresh tomatoes look heavenly. They say summer in a bowl to me! I hear you, I'm in a resurgence of surprise attack hot flashes of late. It's not easy but the date nights and new found freedoms of this stage are wonderful. Your bracelet is gorgeous. Happy for you to be getting some pieces in your shop. As an online boutique owner myself I know how much work that piece alone can be.
    Have a lovely day lovely,
    xx, Heather
