....hello september....
you know of the twelve....
i love you most.
your promise of new beginnings...
fresh starts...
you are a marker of times past
years gone by...
a new season arriving
you bring me
...fall...
i can feel the light change...
every once in a while
you send a breeze that whispers...
the change in season is coming...
you bring the gift of returning routine...
for as much as I love breaking free in June...
it is you september
and the return of routine you bring
that i welcome as a warm embrace
a big hug
a relief from months of summer's expectation.
september...
i know I have let you slip too quickly by the last few years...
never taking the time to truly acknowledge my love for you.
it wasn't you...
it was me.
i was overwhelmed with all the must do's
i felt so responsible for...
but i'm back...
with more time...
and clarity...
september...
i promise to celebrate you...
with gratitude.
i love you september....
welcome back.
as always my dear friends
i wish you love and joy
as you style your life
and
celebrate september
in your own way.
lovely photos! i intend to celebrate and embrace september/fall as well :-)

What a beautiful sentiment Tamera, you write so wonderfully. Jolene
ReplyDeleteSeptember always signals new beginnings for me as well. I suppose it is because of past excitement for a new school year, the holidays that will soon be celebrated with family. Lovely post. Thank you for writing so beautifully for us to enjoy

Love your photos you're very good at setting a tone.
ReplyDeleteI can understand you loving September. For me it's always a bittersweet time of year - with its own special charms as well as needing to let go of my favorite time of year. It all moves too fast for me sometimes - I just want to bottle up and savor every moment.
