  1. I adore this pattern on pattern combination. It is exactly perfect!! The photos are spot on as usual. I like your use of negative space so your outfits really breathe. Very cool necklace. Did you see the one Mis Papelicos made? Much simpler, but flowers as well. Everyone's got spring on the brain. You could fit several bottles of wine in that big bag. Did you take it to the sunset shoot in the previous post?!

    1. Thank you again Melanie for your inspiration to push myself! I am so happy with this outfit...and the ease and dramatic movement with wearing. I appreciate your comment on the use of negative space...with an outfit this striking it definitely needed room to breath to visually. I will have to go check out Mis Papelicos necklace!

  3. A maxi AND stripes?!! I'm there. Plus the color accents take this look over the top. I would imitate this look verbatim. The pictures are great as well. Kudos to you and yours.

  4. Very cool!! Have you thought about adding red accents? I don't wear the nautical look often but I love to see it on other people. That dress is beautiful.

    1. Yes Jeanine I love the energy of adding red accents to nautical stripes...they are usually my first go to... this season I have such an addiction to all nautical stripes I am now pushing myself to even more combinations...I am working my nautical stripes as a neutral this season...I am excited by the possibilities!
      Thanks for stopping by!

  7. What a great idea for a necklace! A friend's sister recently purchased a brooch bouquet in lieu of real flowers for her upcoming wedding :: I had never seen one before then. Just beautiful.
Love the look this week! And those target shoes ~~ love.

  11. Wow! What a stunning look! I really love your style, Tamera. It's so chic.
I am happy to hear you are taking on a spending freeze. My freeze is over - lasted about 5 weeks - and was so helpful in getting my wardrobe where it should be: small and useful and full of lovable, wearable clothes and accessories. I am back to buying clothes now, but am much more selective about what I buy.
I hope you find the freeze as useful as I did!

  20. OMG, I love, love that necklace! I went and read the tutorial. I have a necklace similar to the base and I think I am going to try something like this! I have a necklace made from old enamel pins, but I adore yours! The mixed stripes is truly inspired.
