An Outfit Comes Together

I collect fashion pieces
especially  accessories  in creams
when I come across them and can see them working in my wardrobe.

So I am always really excited
when all the pieces come together
for an extraordinary outfit!

This weeks outfit was inspired by
my new jacket from none other than Target.
When I came across this lightweight  faux leather piece
I knew it would work in perfectly into my wardrobe
was the short cream jacket I had been looking for!

I paired it with  one of my signature necklaces
I made several years ago from buffalo teeth.

I am really enjoying round sunnies
as well as
loving wide brimmed high crown hats right now.
I have several on order fro Australia.
But I found this beauty in San Diego
at Seaport Village Hats.
They also sell online and ship world wide!
I have my eye on a couple more
especially one with 50 SPF for hiking!

My suede ankle booties are a recent purchase from Zara.
They were the perfect answer to my search for a cream heeled booties
 came at a lovely price.

I completed my ensemble with my silk skirts I layer
from Rag and Bone and Theory.

I finished off  the look with some major arm candy to be sure!

The left arm is several collections deep with my bracelet sets of howlite and imported beads from Kenya.
The right arm …bracelets with bold pearl and bone beads imported from Africa.

This week I am happy to introduce my set  of three bracelets
two howlite  bracelets paired with one African bead bracelet
into my shop.

This week I have also added to my shop
a setof three bold pearl andAfrican bead bracelets.

  1. Love all the different layers of cream from the jacket to the skirt to the bracelets! You make me want to wear cream! Inspired as always. I would style them stacked with some other pieces for an arm candy party <3 XO p.s. Just emailed you!

  2. You are the queen of accessories, Tamera. That necklace is so amazing! I will think of it often from this day forward. Your images are perfect.

  3. Just wanted to say hello from the UK and thank you for blogging!
I've only just discovered your blog and as soon as I read the first post realised that I had discovered something that really resonates with me at this time in my life. I'm currently going through the teenage years with my Son but can see that shortly my role as a Mum will alter quite dramatically and so am in the process of rediscovering my own creativity.
Thank you for writing so openly and honestly, you truly are an inspiration x

  4. I love the necklace. I wear alot of dark colors so the cream bracelets will help add some lighter color to my outfits. Thanks for the giveaway.

  5. Tamara,
Love the bracelets and would so enjoy stacking them with the howlite and crown bracelet I recently purchased. All together
they would look rather eye catching on the arm of this 78 year old grandmother who looks forward to your blog and who is

  6. T, this is one of my absolute favorite photo essays in your entire repertoire to date! So fresh and so confident and so completely YOU!
Kudos to you and your photographer for sharing this refreshing inspiration!.

  7. Hi Tamera, I am loving your blog and have even started to think about how I wear my clothes and style my house. I get so much inspiration from you and feel my life is richer for having found you. Yay for us older women!
    Vicki xx

  8. Wow ... i love it love it love it.
You look like you can go on a safari with this beautiful outfit ;-)
    Greetings Tanja

  9. oh Tamera I had visions of a beautiful, fiery Meryl Streep in Out of Africa as I scrolled through your photos. Your cream outfit looks so lush against the colors of nature. I so appreciate all the care and details of your photo shoots my friend. Those spiky plants, the sand and the jagged rocks are such perfect backdrop for your gorgeous, bold jewelry. I love it all …and if I wore those bracelets I would wear lots of white and cream too….it looks perfect to me.

  10. Tamera I love this new look and just got the best buy on a fringed knit jacket/poncho look which these bracelets would be perfect to wear with! You are looking so great and your creative, Impassioned looks are incredible!

  11. Your pieces are always so dramatic. I have a feeling they reflect yourself.

  12. Stunning, you are simply stunning. Your style, outlook and words of wisdom inspire me to be better, to dress up more and find the beauty in life. Thank you. As I wear mostly black, grey, cream and whites in my wardrobe, I would wear the bracelets to give a breath of fresh air to my look.

  13. I'd wear with my denim

  14. that whole outfit is wonderful. I'd wear the bracelet with a neutral dress/top/skirt and a black leather jacket for a pop of contrast and a bit of a rock n roll edge. love the styling x

  15. I LOVE the outfit -- it is so difficult finding interesting pieces that aren't black, isn't it?! The one thing that would make this even better is if you did not have unnatural-looking filler in and above your lips. I am sure you would look even better without that. At any rate, I myself have given up attempting to get my lips filled, because it just never looks natural, and I dislike the 'done' look (though would happily do it were it to look natural!!!)

a lip can also look full when someone happens to smack you for rudeness. Just Saying.

  16. I'd be happy to add them to the ones I've already purchased from you and love the look completely! Fingers crossed!

  17. As you know, you inspire me and my wardrobe choices. I would happily stack these babies up my arm and wear them with pride. I'm sure they will get stealthy licks from my beagles as they assess wether or not they can be chewed on.

  18. Tamara, your style is so amazing! Love all the neutral tone on tone. Those bracelets would look great for my trip to Hilton Head, SC this summer!

  19. I think these bracelets would look fabulous with my new maxidress!!! Thanks for showing us cool & different items! jodie
ps...(since I'm a dentist) I love the buffalo teeth necklace

  20. Quite nice, Tamera. Very well done!

  21. Sister! You are such a light in my life. You are a joy to follow and a treasure to know. I adore you more than words can express. You truly are extraordinary!

  22. And oh my goodness, your bracelets and accessories are as dreamy and gorgeous as you are! Seriously! You are so talented. If I won the bracelets I would wear them with my flowy, boho skirt and strappy sandals. Heck, I'd wear those beauties while in my pajamas! Ha ha!

  23. I love your style! I think the bracelets would look great with any thing!

  24. I'm visiting from Splenderosa. Love your style, white on white is gorgeous for spring/summer, really anytime. I have a lot of white in my wardrobe, so these bracelets would look wonderful with a white summer dress, boots and a jacket or cardy. I'm off to visit your shop!

  25. You are so beautiful and full of talent.
