Birthday Celebration


My darling daughter turned 23 this weekend
so we drove down to San Diego
to take Ellis and her fiancé out for 
brunch to celebrate!


One of the perks of her living in a new area
is that she can show us 
all of the really cool places she finds!


It's like having the perfect tour guide
who knows my tastes
and 
aesthetics!


Ellis picked one of her favorite brunch spots
to celebrate her birthday with us.

100 Wines
in the Hillcrest area of San Diego!


100 Wines 
is known for being a top San Diego brunch destination
and 
I can see why!

You can order mimosas by the carafe!



The carafe comes with pitchers of 
four different juices
grapefruit
orange 
pomegranate
and
cranberry.

Our fabulous waiter
filled each glass with champagne
with just enough room 
for him to finish it off 
with the juice of your choice!

Custom mimosas
made at your table!

The craziest part
all for $8.00 !!

My girl knows how to find 
the most Fabulous places
to be sure!
She has shown her
 Dad and I
the best of London 
and
Torino
when she was living in Italy!

Now we get to learn more about 
our own San Diego backyard!


Hillcrest is a vibrant community
full of indie stores
one of the largest farmers markets 
in San Diego
and 
murals that make for the best
photo backdrops!


You have to love a mural artist
who brings the art all the way 
down to the sidewalk!

It is always  wonderful  not only seeing 
the best parts of your city
but even more
getting to spend time with you
my beloved daughter!

    What a glorious post! You make me full of the knowledge of how important a daughter is, how much fun they are and also so very special. Even though I speak to my daughter all the time when I read this I picked up the phone and clued her just to say how much I love her.
