Much of my wardrobe has been curated
around a neutral palette of
creams and whites that
I am always drawn to living here here in Southern California.
Having a core color palette
makes mixing pieces and having
a lot of options a breeze
even when it's still nearing 90 degrees here this weekend.
To stay cool I started with a base of
my Free People slip tunic
with my Anthropologie sequin embellished pajama pants
and
my basket purse and Gucci Flats
all done to set off my
newest creation ... tassel earrings!
With the core outfit done
I could choose from
my sleeveless vest from Target …
or a cozy cotton sweater …
or my newest wardrobe addition
a new furry vest from Zara!
I just love how all the cream textures come together
so beautifully!
But my favorite option
is always my white Tory Burch cotton blazer!
I really enjoy the juxtaposition of tailored and boho pieces.
Variations on this look took me to Cancun an back
and
it's still one of my favorite go to options
for our very warm SoCal fall.
As always my friends
I wish you love and joy
as you style your life

Great planning, Tamara! I normally dress in black or primary colors because of my dark skin. Last night my husband bought me a beautiful off white crochet mini dress here at the Four Seasons hotel in Maui. Might have to change my preferences to your palette!
ReplyDeleteMy dearest Catherine … your crochet mini sounds fabulous! I'd love to see a picture of your beautiful self wearing it!
DeleteDo enjoy Maui … the Four Seasons sounds like the perfect base camp to me! I'm still wishing you had a blog so I could follow along on your wonderful travels! Do you have an Instagram account … that would be even a much easier way to share your beautiful life!
All the best to you!

Your beautiful neutral palette is what first drew me to your blog, and I'm still being inspired by your ever creative ways to enhance this lovely palette. It makes me dream of living in your amazing sunny weather (year round) but it also makes me realize with your newest addition of that gorgeous fur vest that I can also embrace this palette into my own wardrobe. Thank you again, beautiful friend, for you inspiration.
ReplyDeleteTamera I love every piece you are showing, you look casually elegant yet very chic! Adore the Zara Vest!

P.S. Hope you will stop by Thursday and join TBT fashion link up.
I'm usually drawn to colour and print over neutrals, but you always add layers and textures and details to your neutral outfits, Tamera, so even a pattern junkie like me can appreciate them! You and the Californian sunlight are radiant and beautiful. xxx
ReplyDeleteI LOVE every look! Stylish, classic, and fun-loving... a perfect combination! xx UB :)
