I have collected my go to pieces for the summer.
There was no master plan
just an accumulation of pieces that I loved.
And wouldn't you know it
they all perform perfectly together!
Creating my favorite kind of
casual down to earth glam
and
the ability
to go form my studio
to the post office to ship orders ...
and
quickly upgrade with a shoe change
into my second favorite
Palm Springs find ...
a perfect neutral lucite heeled sandal
by Trina Turk.
This pair goes with everything
and
updates my favorite pieces instantly
with a cool coastal meets Palm Springs vibe!
I think other than the new Trina Turk sandals
I have shown all of these pieces in one incarnation or another.
This isn't one of those new clothes in every post kind of blog.
I am much more real life
with limited resources
and
I get really excited and happy
to get as many different looks from my pieces as I can!
And even happier
when the pieces have a cool elegance
that move well and are fun to wear!
sweat shirt-J Crew, tunic slip-Free People, Panama-Monte Cristo Napa, necklace-Tamera Beardsley (making it into the shop next week), straw bag-imported form Africa, white capris-Calvin Klein
The tunic slip alone with capris is perfect for warm summer days!
For dinner out
I simply add my favorite
Tory Burch cotton blazer
with my
Tamera Beardsley Design
Sand Dollar Pearl necklace
and
my straw hat.
I am so happy with the versatility of my summer pieces
I may someday be one of those women
who can really go over night
with just one bag.
Just Maybe :))
As always my friends
I wish you love and joy
as you style your life
Adorable. Love the lucite, love the berks.

Really love how easily you mix up your items. There is a trick to this and I, obviously, am missing it! You look wonderful as always.
ReplyDeleteThank you GK! I think part of the trick is buying pieces from a similar color pallet … and then just buying pieces you love. The tunic slip is really such a versatile piece that so easily pulls the other pieces together. I love the fresh proportion it adds to my older pieces.
DeleteThank you for sharing! Love your outfit and contagious smile ;)
ReplyDeleteMarianne thank you so much for visiting and your kind words!
DeleteYou look beautiful and your style is simply perfect for summer! I wish I'd be anywhere near to that feeling over here!
ReplyDeleteI just love white when the weather is warm and your styling with your pearl necklace is fabulous, Tamera. Your Trina Turk sandals are great. And I am looking for one of the Ibiza straw bags.

Hello there! Free People owes you some kick backs! After I saw the "slip" on your blog....I immediately bought it in the ecru color and the black and the mint green (thankfully, my daughter works at Nordstrom and gets Mommy a nice discount). I adore them and wear them constantly! I might just have to copy the white capri and blazer look with them and get myself a pair of those lucite heels! I can be the Tamera of Pittsburgh. ;-) Thanks for sharing your great style!!! You always look marvelous and your writing is lovely....!
ReplyDeleteLucky you Judi … with a tie to Nordstrom discounts! I have been thinking I need to add some more of these perfect slips to my wardrobe! Not only are they great for day … but I layer them for lounging and sleep wear as well!
DeleteThank you my dear for your comment … hope you enjoy your weekend!
xoxo

Your new sandals are fabulous! Of course you wear and recombine your favourite pieces, don't we all? Who can possibly wear new things in every blog post? You look gorgeous, Tamera! xxx
ReplyDeleteCutise so happy for your visit! Yes, most of us recombine our favorite pieces … and this always makes for my very favorite blogs!
DeleteHope you are enjoying your English summer my dear!

Here I thought I had left a comment already...maybe that was just a dream?
ReplyDeleteYou have inspired me to find the love for summer clothes...I really don't care for them much to be honest.
Maybe I just need some FABULOUS shoes like your Trina heels?
You look gorgeous and glamorous as always. Hoping to see you again in the coming months. Big hugs!
A
I love how you mix what you already have and pull it off so nicely Tamera!
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness! White Berks have been springing up like fresh summer blooms! I am far more fascinated with your Tina Turks, dear Tamera! I played dress up in my chic Cali Grandmother's lucite Springalators! The very thought of doing it again is amazing. Just seeing you in them warms my sentimental heart!
ReplyDeleteI love how you mix au courant with just the right splash of mid century into 70's panache!
Parfait!
I am guessing that the images of you at the post office were taken when you mailed my beautiful treasure inspired by the sea!
Have a blessed weekend!
withLove!
So sorry..."Trina Turk"!
ReplyDeleteI think I may have channeled a bit of Tina Turner for a moment...LOL!
(I haven't even had a glass of wine.)
