Hello Tuesday, actually ...
yesterday being a holiday was spent enjoying every moment with
my daughter and son ...
So hello to so much gratitude this week...
Every since my post last week HERE about being
Not Young, Thin or Rich
and
Still Living a Beautiful Life
there has been a lightest to my spirit
that comes with true self acceptance.
Letting go of
the some day I'll ...
has opened up my soul...
to experience more joy in the everyday...
I hiked for the sheer joy of it...
not in the usual I have to hike to better myself mode...
BUT RATHER
I KNOW THIS IS
GOOD FOR MY MIND BODY AND SOUL.
BUT RATHER
I KNOW THIS IS
GOOD FOR MY MIND BODY AND SOUL.
This week I reconnected with an old friend
who has such a catching zest for life...
and
shares the joys of major hikes!
What is the saying...
when the student is ready...
the teacher will come!
I am absolutely giddy over our future hiking and biking adventures!
In the middle of writing that post...
another dear friend
asked me to lunch at her club...
Having the time to lunch with a great friend...
is one of life's true gifts.
Hello to gratitude to time spent with my husband...
finding new places for our Friday night date night!
Hello to a full heart getting to spend time with my darling daughter who was home for the weekend...
Hello to having the most marvelous lunch with mothers and daughters
who are the very best of friends.
The four of us had such truly fabulous time..
and I am counting down to our next lunch date!!
Hello to excitement over decorating for the holidays...
I have my holiday landscape all thought out...
and it will only require minimum effort...
and
last through the spring here in Southern California!
Hello to a heart full of gratitude...
for all that I have in my life.
Hello to the practice of gratitude
and
self acceptance...
the two together are helping change my life...
and have propped up a new soap box for me...
I am on a mission to celebrate all the gifts that
come with the wisdom involved
in growing older...
and
wiser.
as always my friends
I wish you love and joy
as you style your life
Thanks for this. Beautiful images and thoughts.

ReplyDeleteWhat elegant and beautiful you are in this post. I love your skirt is gorgeous with the soft color and the beautiful ruffles. The shoes are so cute and the pictures are great.
ReplyDeleteMy word, that sky is incredible!
ReplyDeleteThere always sounds as though there is so much to relish about your life, Tamera - though I know there are other elements which are more challenging, of course. But yes to enjoying what we have and making the most of it!
As always, you look stunning, your images are beautiful, and your words are thoughtful. xxxx
Beautiful as always my friend. No one wears a turban quite as elegantly as you!
