Hello Monday....
hello to still waiting for summer to officially start at our house...
with still a week and a half until everyone here is out of school...
this last bit seems to be creeping along.
Hello to fond memories of the weekend past...
from a rural canyon cantina
to our favorite dive bar in Dana Point harbor...
to checking out the Montage in Beverly Hills on a supply run to downtown LA.
.... hello to a week of celebrating birthdays and fathers.
Hello to working hard to put a positive spin on my many menopausal symptoms...
and finding some healthy advice.
I bought Martha Stewart's new book
LIVING THE GOOD LONG LIFE expecting good advice...
only to be shocked...
the word isn't even mentioned.
Hello to having the house styled pretty for the summer...
and venturing back into my studio...
this time for some clothing and turban design.
.... hello to looking forward to next Monday...
and my girl being home for the summer!!!
as always dear friends
I wish you love and joy
as you style your life
Hello to you too gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour house looks so pretty. Aren't those menopausal surprises fun?
Have a lovely week,
Jennifer
The only good thing I have found so far about them is that my mind feels so fuzzy most of the time and I am SO sleep deprived... I can momentarily forget about my weight gain... until it's time to get dressed :)
DeleteSo good to hear from you my dear! Hope all is well in your realm!
Your house looks so lovely, Tamera! I dined last week with a fellow blogger when I visited Chicago and she was using the prettiest fan during the dinnner to ward off hot flashes. It was such a timeless, and chic way to handle the heat ....I loved it. I know your daughter coming home will lift you out of the menopausal doldrums. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteOh Pam, what a wonderful tip!!! A perfect reason for a new accessory collection... I absolutely love it! That is exactly the kind of tips I am looking for. Making the very best of the situation! Thank you so much for sharing!!
DeleteThe interior design of your house and the lovely collection of small things is so gorgeous, Tamera.
ReplyDeleteI love white orchids (and white calla) and you have beautiful ones!
I am so happy for you to have your daughter back soon.
Thank you for another lovely post.
Hugs from Germany,
Annette

ReplyDeleteHello to having a beautiful, talented blogger to bring beauty to my Monday. Thank you, as always for seeing and capturing the beauty in the simple things of life. I can totally relate to the looking forward part, my son will be home Saturday for the summer. So hello to the non-quiet house, I simply welcome the noise with open arms. Looking forward to hearing about some fun mother/daughter time from you.
ReplyDeleteHello to coffee with good friends!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Tamera! Your images are always so delicious. You live with such an eye for beauty and style and you are able to be very authentic at the same time. Love visiting you here. Sorry to hear about the 'symptoms'and I certainly get that (hot flashes AND a heat wave here last weekend;).
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to see your new designs-turbans-so chic. I've been wanting to add a few to my Stylemindchic Boutique. They are the perfect summer accessory.
