....paralysis of analysis ...

This week has found me sequestered at home in my studio...
working with my beautiful daughter
who is   home from college for spring break...
on my online shop.

For those of you who have been reading my blog for a while...
this is a statement I have made many times...
for quite a long time...
I have realized in regards to my online shop I have suffered from...

paralysis of analysis...

Being so very passionate about my accessory designs...
I have found myself over thinking their presentation to the world...

and so...
they have remained hidden...

so with loving advice from my husband...
I am adopting a new mantra...

When it comes to moving forward with my online shop...

I will trust in my creative process...
and instinct...
respecting the true essence of the journey...

remembering
....small steps plus intention equal success....

as always dear friends

I wish you love and joy
as you style your life
this Easter weekend

and may I also say thank you
ever so much for your outpouring of thoughtful
comments on my last post...

...gifts to my soul they are...

and a special thank you to
Danielle
for the beautiful blog redesign

...if you want to see her beautiful  and soulful life  journey with  children
I highly recommend  following her on instagram as

  2. Hi Tamera! I completely relate to your feelings of taking the risk to put it all 'out there'on the line or 'online' ;). When it comes to creativity and business it is such an interesting journey to take the next step. I opened my own Stylemindchic Boutique online about 9 months ago. I'm carrying sparkle, ambiance, spa, decor & fashion accessories. It has been such a learning experience. It is labor intensive, sometimes technically frustrating and sales were slow at the beginning...that said...I'm loving the adventure and learning so much. I even surprised myself by making a video of one of my collections for my boutique. From what I've seen of your designs they are gorgeous. I want to encourage you to keep putting it out there. My mantra (it's on the blog) "If not now....when?". Now is your time! Happy to email or chat if you have questions about the process. I will look forward to promoting your beautiful pieces as well. You are, simply, following your dreams.......
Wishing you and yours a Happy Easter dear Tamera!
    xx, Heather

  4. Your husband is a very wise man. Sometimes 'just starting' opens up so many possibilities and I'm looking forward to visiting your online shop and all the creativity that will no longer be hidden.

  5. a beautiful post, because sometimes we must just let it be, bring it out from its "hiding place" and share it with the world. I will be sure to visit your shop and follow. Hugs

  6. I've been waiting to purchase items from you so just get 'em out there! The jewelry will sell itself -- it's that good!! Okay? Like Nike says, "Just do it!"

  8. I'm with you too. It's the small steps that are hard to take. I always think I must take huge leaps but then they look so daunting. I find myself giving this advice to my kids but I am the one who really needs to be told this as well. Our Spring Break is behind us too and I am already dreaming of the end of the school year!
