.... { my week in photos … and changing views } ....

I was excited to wrap for a bridal shower this week...
I called it Sunday Morning...
the gift was a bed tray....
I worked the other gifts of two unique coffee cups into
the yarn knotted wrapping.
The shower was a lovely delight.
~ the bride to be....
the daughter of a good friend...
~my favorite part....
watching her as she opened her gifts....
for her soon to be new life...
~feeling the room change...
as it went from mother's and kids....

to a room of woman...
~sharing advice and hope...
~on having a good marriage...
~having a good life....

The ALT wardrobe and trip prep continued...
into the 'empty room' .... that isn't so empty anymore.
For the first time ever I have a space to set out  pieces to be packed...
room to mend what needs attention...
 block my hat...
set out neatly all that I need to bring...
until the final packing....

This all got me thinking
~ how many times in life...
contrasting  emotions can envelop a heart...

~loneliness and longing for times past...
can exist simultaneously
with excited creativity for new projects...

~how sadness given time...
can start to transition to hope...

~if we plant the seeds...
and
 ~nurture the progress...

as always dear friends

I wish you love and joy
as you style your life

  3. Such a timely post. I was just trying to sort out ideas for a birthday gift for a dear friend of mine. Incorporating part of the gift into the packaging is brilliant. I thought I was escaping my indecision by going on the computer. Turns out I was drawn to inspiration yet again. Thank you Tamera. I'm so looking forward to hearing more about the conference you are attending.
