This year I planned ahead....
and have my outfit for
fireworks at the lake....
fireworks at the lake....
Too many years I made the mistake of
putting all of my time into packing a great set up
and remembering that I needed something to wear
at the last minute.
So this year I planned ahead...
tunic-Vince, linen pants-Anthropologie, bag-H&M, sunglasses H&M, necklace-Tamera Beardsley
bracelets-Tamera Beardsley
This year Jeff and I will at the lake without the kids....
Ellis who has an events internship at the country club....will be working.
Slater will be in Newport on the boat with his girlfriend's family.
Hunter will be doing an all day ride along with fire patrol as part of his fire explorer's program.
So Jeff and I have come full circle these days...
and are turning back into a couple...
and for the most part, it's pretty darn great...
Now we are heading into our what's next...
as a couple.
I spent Sunday
weaving vintage brooches
weaving vintage brooches
into a new necklace...
(I have a DIY post about it here)
(I have a DIY post about it here)
I love the idea of taking old pieces from the past...
and
giving them a new life....
and
giving them a new life....
especially....
now.
I love the poetic beauty of taking parts with a past...
and
rearranging them...
into something new...
beautiful
and
relevant...
relevant...
giving them a brand new life
by treasuring each of the pieces from the past.
Wishing you love and joy
as you style your life
Looking positively fabulous, as always.
