The fashion challenge I gave myself this week:
deciding on outfits for both
Christmas Eve
and
Christmas Day...
Both boys are off for winter break...
so this week I had the
luxury of time
I even tried on many options...
here is what I have decided...
We host a formal dinner for family
on Christmas Eve....
so as always I wanted something
comfortable with a little glamour...
This is the same top and necklaceI wore to a holiday party
...this time though
I paired it with some velvet pants and sparkly pointed flats...
My accessory tip this week
for all my DIY friends...
keep your eyes open in the
Christmas trimming departments

I made my holiday necklace
by combining some strands of garland....
with a package tag from Pottery barn
and used a beaded wine bottle decoration
as the tassel...
I just put it together with some of those jump rings
I told you about.
Just keep your eyes open...
you never know what you can turn into an
accessory!
After dinner...
Christmas Eve service...
I just have to throw on my
princess cut coat
and my Burberry fur collar
and I'm out the door.
when I return...
my velvet robe
cozy luxury
all ready for last minute gift wrapping and champagne.

My favorite part of Christmas Day...
the morning
and
family surfing...
right after we open the Christmas stockings....
Afterwards
Christmas Day
is a casual buffet at home
with lots of presents to unwrap
my sweater and crochet skirt
will certainly do the trick
(the weather calls for a beautiful 75 degrees...)
Wishing you love and joy
as you style your life!
Merry Christmas!
thanks so for stopping by
