The pulling together of an outfit....
I spent this week working on my wardrobe for an upcoming trip to Napa.
I was so excited to photograph my favorite of the outfits
but....
I had worn the new shoes to break them in
and I forgot socks
so
I of course ended with
blistered feet.
so
My nights outfit first and foremost
had to start with a shoe I could actually walk in......
so out came a pair of my old faithful flats
and
their color led me to
my bronze sequin tunic
and
being past the age of sleeveless at night...
the tunic led me to
this Ralph Lauren cashmere jacket...
that
by the way was new to me...
I am helping my first style influence
{my mother}
edit her closets
and yes
(she has many...many)
and
she handed this beautiful and versatile
jacket
down to me!
jacket
down to me!
I have missed a great blazer
there is something so
settling about a blazer...
a little armor for the day...
like a hug of confidence!
I was loving this outfit for a Saturday night
trip through
Old Town Orange...
and
and
I added my new fall earrings
for a trip to LA on Sunday
for supply shopping
for my accessory line.
these were an inexpensive pair from Aldo
which came on hooks
which I replaced with chinese coin and clips
( to off set the pulling on the lobes
that can come with this size of an earring).
I was even able to work in my new fall felt hat...
and now
I have a new quick go to outfit
that I love...
all because of blisters.
and now

Wishing you love and joy
as you style your life
thanks so for stopping by
I've so done the same thing - breaking in shoes never works out for me.
