Now that my darling daughter has returned to college
I have begun fall breakfast searches
with my husband Jeff
I have so enjoy the breakfast search.....
as an easy an economical way to explore
the vast amount of new places
that surround us here
in Southern California
and with Ellis away at college
and my boys busy with their high school lives....
and after almost 20 years of child rearing
the weekends have so opened up for Jeff and I .....
I feel like there is a whole world out there
to explore!
This week Venice Beach
was our target for exploration
and a meal.....
I have to say
much of Venice
isn't my cup of tea....
but oh
was it worth the drive!!!
because
we found
bountiful
the most amazing and overstuffed store
I have ever been to!
Everywhere and I mean
Everywhere
there is a
visual feast
perfect vignettes
abound
eye candy e.v.e.v.r.y.w.h.e.r.e.
I met Susan the owner
of
bountiful
who told me she has been there 18 years
which speaks to how and why each and every inch
is full of treasure
and visual delight
If you find yourself
LA
bountiful
is surely worth a stop
for a least some
breathtaking window shopping
(the prices certainly aren't for the faint of heart).
bountiful
1335 abbott kinney boulevard
(the store isn't named outside
I guess a store this great doesn't need signage).
After our fantastic
bountiful
experience
we got brunch at
Axe
The interior and 'decor'
couldn't have been and more opposite
from bountiful
Axe.
is true minimalism
the food is center stage visually
plated in bold textured ceramic dishes
the brunch menu
is healthy Californian
my favorite.
I enjoyed a rice bowl full of 'shaved vegetables'
Axe
is just down a couple of blocks from
bountiful
at 1009 abbot kinney
wishing you love and joy
as you style your life
thanks so for stopping by
I love all the pretty light fixtures. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post! Love all of them. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you on my blog:)
Bountiful looks like a place I could spend hours in! There are so many lovely treasures in your photos. It's probably a good thing that I don't live close by... I'd want to spend way too much time and money there!
