Fall restyling........

Fall is here....

summer is packed and stored...

and i couldn't be happier!

I have brought out my denim slipcovers......

all of my kilim  pillows........

and a host of stylish fall thrift finds.....

I redid the chalk board above my mantle

with a quote by the Avett Brother's 

that speaks to me....

I restyled 
all around

to highlight 

the gifts of  fall.....

my centerpiece of candles

with

apples from our trip 

to the orchards...

my fall morning ritual....

getting up

 while it's dark ....

lighting my tray of candles....

savoring my morning coffee.....

and watching

the sun make it's way up....

my favorite thrift store find 

from my summer perusing 

with my beautiful daughter

has found a place to hang with honor.....

a treasured gift from a dear friend

is clothes pinned to the back of a framed oil......

my vintage mannequin

is dressed in original leathers

and

adorned with

some of my new pieces.....

iron...bamboo and baskets

all commingle on my cement floors.....

vintage suitcases

wait their turn

for impromptu storage....

fresh fall foliage 

takes it's place....

dining candles

are on the ready.....

my salvaged toolbox

filled with primitive bone utensils....

open shelving in the  dining room

filled with 

fall inspired dinnerware.....

collections

years in the makings.....

which all pull together

in a welcoming embrace

of fall...

....even the courtyard 

is ready for fall....
