what I wore Wednesday....

In my favorite, Laguna Beach again this week, this time for the city's monthly Art Walk.
On this night all of the galleries and museums are open for free,
many serving complimentary wine or snacks.
This happens in Laguna the first Thursday of each summer month.

So for such a fun occasion and one that involves walking much of the city
I chose a comfortable and 'walkable' outfit,
with just enough artistic flair deemed by the occasion.

one of my many pairs of white jeans- a southern california staple for me
magaschoni-jacket
alfani dress- I use as a tunic
bag- india import
fab glasses- LA eyeworks
sandals-payless
bib necklace-vintage Tamera Beardsley
it's a piece from my old company
I love these glasses, they are also vintage.... from the late la eyeworks
yea, I can tell I'm getting old when
my own pieces now count as vintage,
it's ok,
It  just makes me love them more!
These glasses remind me of the days my husband and I were
newly married, without kids
our days entertained by
what we were going to wear out
yea...
that too was a long time ago!

My little bag is an  india import
the long shoulder strap and small size
has always made it a great little
evening purse

such beautiful sandals
by payless, believe it or not
but they have always reminded me of
Tom Ford's collection when he was designing for gucci
my dress/tunic was a steal after christmas
it was part of  a
holiday collection
but I saw it as a fabulous
summer piece!

My favorite part of my outfit
an original piece of mine
from my previous life
as a fashion accessory designer.
before my third child I was getting much press in the likes of
italian moda which led to
woman's wear daily, which led to
ect., ect. ect.
another whole story
for a different day.

wishing you love and joy
as you
style your life

thanks for stopping by

I forgot to mention I am once again linking up with
the Pleated Poppy

thanks
