a simple alfresco breakfast setting........

We took advantage of everyone being home for breakfast Sunday morning and made pancakes outside on the barbecue and enjoyed some quality 
family time.

I styled a quick table for the occasion.

the 'table cloth' is made of rugs, I love the heavy texture, and they can stay outside full time.

I was excited to use bandanas as placemats!

down the center I used my Adirondack napkin holders

and intermixed them 

with large shells

Jeff made a delicious breakfast and we sat outside and actually enjoyed family time!

to be perfectly honest, that doesn't always happen,

but...

I  treasure it when it does!!
