After a very extended hiatus, I have made it back into my studio.
I have been side tracked, uninspired and truthfully more than a little lost,
and even more truth....for a long time.
But I found my way back into my studio this weekend.
Back to a place where being creative is a joy, not just an expectation I place on myself.
I actually got out my sewing machine, because i was excited to create something
not because it was on my to do list to accomplish.
I made four very simple pillows for my chairs outside, using the burlap I had left out to age.
I also asked Jeff, who was kind enough to oblige, to make a plywood screen. I am always visually inspired and need more space to hang my eye candy collections.
I finally feel excited about proceeding! Anxious, yes, but excited more!
Today I even learned how to drill beach glass for some new designs I have been working on.

I'm so glad you are feeling inspired and ready to create again. The pillows are wonderful, and I can't wait to see what else you come up with. :)
